It’s a super rinky-dink set up and might pose long term issues depending on your climate, but when I turn my S9s on to heat my apartment, I put the intake against the window and because of the cool intake temps, it keeps it relatively quiet. Experiment at your own risk. The fact it’s snowing outside probably isn’t the best decision for me to make rn 😅 But it looks cool and I’m a psychopath
😂it makes sense to me! Lol not as cold in Texas but my setup isn’t much different. I tell people it’s to heat my garage, which it does, but really I just love looking at that flashing green light and listening to it hash away. Sometimes before I go to bed I’ll just walk in there and stare at it. I think I have a problem.
Nah it sounds like a solution.
Because same.
Does it really warm your apartment??? Mine doesn't warm my house enough so thinking of buying more.
Yeah. I live in a tiny studio though. Even then, sometimes I think I might need 2 because it gets so cold. But I did an experiment when I lived somewhere else where I went on vacation for about 5 days and I just let my S9 go in my office on the floor with no air circulation or anything, just opened up all the doors, and the whole apartment (900 sq ft 2 bed) was about 88°F when we came back. So it may just take a little while to reach those ambient temps. But also, I think 2 S9s is a good number for an apartment.
Also, the weather itself wasn’t drastically cold either during that experiment, so that may have played a part in it.
