Why canโ€™t we just stand for human prosperity, respect and love? When we subscribe to ideological narratives we inadvertently alienate one another unconsciously, the system and its division is reinforced through choosing a side, its not that these ideologies are good or bad, itโ€™s the fact in which it constrains and substitutes the spread of real knowledge.

Real knowledge is both intuitive and analytical on the foundation of love and experience.

People = People

If the majority of those people are consumed through bad incentive structures, bad power dynamics and unexamined ideologies, what will that government look like? Probably similar to those people is my guess.

Unfortunately, just standing up for humanity is too vague and also enhances the power of the system and the elites that oppress us all. Subscribing to only vague "causes" like this distract attention from individual issues that affect our fellow humans and allow oppression to continue. Its a fine line to walk, because division also enhances the power of the system and the elites.

This is more towards recognition of subscribing to certain ideological narratives, as it breeds division naturally. The system is faulted through its power dynamics, shit incentives and its unconscious/unexamined ways of thinking.

You 100000% disempower the system when you stand for the values Iโ€™ve listed, because you end up setting up a hierarchy of values in which we can try agree upon, letโ€™s say I was religious, and the top of my hierarchy is god, I then have substructures below that which branches towards love, respect, prosperity, trust etcโ€ฆ

Entertaining ideology will only get in the way of true knowledge.

You say that these vague causes only distract from individual issues, but they donโ€™tโ€ฆ Iโ€™m still very wary of the issues we face for example, but how am I in anyway allowing oppression to continue? I havenโ€™t got a choice, because I see what the system is breeding.

Ideology however:

"Iโ€™m a Republican who loves Trump, he will make America great again!" ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ”ด

"Iโ€™m a democrat, Trump is a racist who will ruin our great nation!"๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ”ต

Same example can be made with Israel and Gaza, atrocities being made by either side, yet when people support a side it inadvertently enrages and alienates the others in support of the latter.

You are right. Broad sets of default ideological box sets are the problem. Basing one's beliefs on a predetermined box set, rather than coming to one's beliefs thru cohesion with one's morals and values.

"I'm a liberal so I believe X Y and Z" and I'm opposed to A B and C" rather than "I believe X Y A and T because they are consistent with my value of โˆ†"

I'm going to be a little bit contrarian, but bear with me.

Bitcoin does NOT fix this. Not by itself.

What Bitcoin does is create a stable financial foundation so that WE can do the work to unite across lines, aisles, borders, labels and tribal divisions. But it can't work alone. As a stable financial foundation, Bitcoin allows us to know who has what as a form of property and a pure representation of capital.

We need a stable information foundation, so that we can know verifiably who said what. This is why I hope that Nostr does not start allowing edits or deletion. People need to be held accountable for their words and their actions.

We also need a stable foundation for imagination and innovation, taking what we have and what we know and creating something new. Copyrights, patents, github, things like that. Who came up with the new idea, when, and how was it tested?

All of these things will build a foundation of trust. And when all of these foundations are established, we can actually start to build again.

Not really, I totally agree, said the same a few months back๐Ÿค™
