We have to start resisting at some point, seems like a good place to start.
What is a good place to start?
Refusing to pay tax on your bitcoin.
But Jonathan they will jail you for tax evasion. Do you move to tax havens?
We shall see if it comes to that. If we always obey their rules then we might as well surrender to their terms now. Bitcoin allows us to take a stand for our rights, but it doesn't force us to, we still have to stand our ground.
Depending on your jurisdiction and situation the tactic will be different, I think in the United States we stay and fight, but flight to safe haven could be the better option in many countries.
They can get to some of us, but they can't get to all of us, if we are united in this cause, we will overcome.
The only thing taxes pay for is interest on T-bills, they're a deflationary mechanism. Asking for taxes in bitcoin is just blatant thievery. It makes even less sense when anyone can mine blocks

There are many examples in history (e.g. Byzantine Empire) when two monies/currencies existed. One for paying taxes to govt. which was gold or had high gold content and one for everything else incl. payment of govt. expenses, which was of lower or no gold content.
