I kind of have come to appreciate all the “trigger warnings” and things like the Spotify labels that say “Learn the truth about COVID vaccines/climate change/whatever” because it’s become like a flag for me when searching through a lot of media that signals, “you might really enjoy this episode so stop and look for a second.” 🤣

I will genuinely be a little sad when they take those away. nostr:note14yaqs8ct5x0vdnxzghuehqcjahys0xz27gxd09hv7uzq3x9kfzuq2tt75d

Lol same

It’s a tell for sure

💯 agree!

for me, trigger warnings and algorithmic disclaimers mean I should lean in... this must be the good stuff!

Everytime I see those "context" divs in Youtube I think of building an extension to get rid of it. Then I remember "to build it I have to use JS", and quit. Then, I open the inspector to add "display: none". Every. Time.

yes I use it the same way, maybe I should look at this they must be on some right track if those "warnings" come up

that’s how it is now. if there’s a label I believe the opposite.
