The virtue signaling of some bitcoiners to the “climate change” scam club is silly and useless.

I agree that we shouldn’t capitulate. But I do like calling their bluff…
”Oh you want grid stability? Bitcoin mining does that.”
“Oh you want fewer emissions? Bitcoin mining does that.”
“Oh you want higher renewable penetration? Bitcoin mining does that.”
Concede that climate action is necessary to get passed the first principle impasse…then watch them squirm as they realize Bitcoin mining really is an energy innovation that addresses everything they say they want.
A lie should be called out. It’s simple.
It’s like saying - oh you want more inflation and taxation? Let’s print more fiat to buy bitcoin. You don’t do that right?

The carbon emission spiel is just another way to tax us of course, but the power grid thing is incredible! Money is the greatest form of energy, Bitcoin is the greatest form of money and then if we can use the mining of it to balance energy grids…🤯
