For the record: the quantity of replies on #Tiktok is way higher than here, but the QUALITY of replies on #nostr is absolutely unmatched. Maybe it’s the permanence? Maybe it’s the zap-potential? Maybe it’s the collective IQ of early tech adopters? Whatever it is, I love it here. #grownostr

We were building a TikTok on NOSTR protocols to save our frens not so long ago, what happened to it?

Is it listed here?:

No we weren’t. Nobody attempted it.

Too much to do, not enough purple juice to do it all

🤣

The quality of content on TikTok can be really good too! Or is it YouTube shorts 🩳 🤔… Hell, I don’t know.

My latest binge is super quick room remodel demos that maximize the space by being super creative with storage, shelving etc… I’m sure there is a name for this but it escapes my mind right now.

Yes I love the content on TikTok but the replies to my vids are mostly one-star haha

It's the early adopter bias. It's all of those things, accentuated. Plus, this protocol suffers no fools, usually. So... It's pretty great.

Considering that many of the apps for Nostr are still user-hostile, it takes a certain level of IQ and determination to even be here. 😜

I'd like to believe it's because we're seeking better alternatives and truly want to be social and communicate.

That said, back in the Google+ days, I had the same experience. The quality of posts and replies was much deeper and well thought out compared to what existed elsewhere. Google+ was filled with tech nerds too. Maybe that's the relationship?

Here it seems more combination of nerds and ancaps. Maybe that's the difference 😁

Elite combo 😎🤙

Or wait… do the kids called it “based” or is that a bad thing? I can’t keep up with the hip new slang lol

But that said, early days on Twitter felt very similar...

no.

& iq isnt real & it is racist.
