It’s like immigrating to a free country from Soviet Russia. You might have to leave some of your wealth behind, but better to set yourself up in the land of the free, rather than toil at the mercy of a capricious authority.

You might have to leave some of your wealth behind in Soviet Russia? Huh?

when you’re trying to escape a country, which you can’t leave from, you can only bring so much with you

How about when you’re trying to escape your own mind?

you can’t escape your own mind really.

you can calm it down and incrementally reprogram it, is how i see and adjust it.

nudge the way your mind processes things with changing the people that surround you, your microhabits and how you react to information

You always have good advice.

Stupid brain

Or is it stupid stomach 😆

🤣

Yeah it’s a problem I have.

I’m just left scratching my head because Soviet era Russia was communist. When I talked to people who emigrated during that time they were not leaving wealth behind. It all belonged to the state.

The senior party apparatchiks were wealthy, but feel free to substitute your non-communist tyranny of choice!
