What do you suggest for high speed internet and cellular service in remote Eastern Tennessee? I have no internet data line at the street and cell service is horrible. Any proven systems, carriers or other tips you can off would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tested star link? I know from experience that the direct tv style models are TERRIBLE for streaming.

Starlink works great here!

I’ve looked into Starlink and signed up when it’s ready in my area (Sweatwater / Athens area). I’m on the wait list. Will double-check their service map again. I’m finding a number of YouTube videos helpful. Fingers crossed. Cellular service still stinks. Appreciate the feedback.

We are nomad in an RV and use Starlink as we travel. Currently in West TN and it is working fine. Havnt made it to East TN with it yet but TX, AR, MS and West TN good so far.

Thanks. I signed up for Starlink and am on the waiting list. YouTube has some helpful videos that may provide options. Fingers crossed.

We are on StarLink. It works much better than other satellite services and better than most of what passes for broadband in rural areas.

We got taken off the wait list when we signed up for the option to get the best available service. Basically they added an option where you could go ahead and sign up, and you agreed that it might not be as good as the full service. That was with the understanding that you would get upgraded when it became possible. Anyway, as soon as we took that option, before we even got the hardware sent to us, we were upgraded to the full service.

Since you're in Eastern Tennessee, could you help spread the word about a Bitcoin Meetup? The main goal is to help those who are interested but don't know where to start.
