Today's Training:

5 x 5 #Deadlift with easy 90kg

My goal is beating my PR of 160kg. I did not use many barbells during the last 3 years. Now I have less excuses with my new #homegym :D

We will see how long it takes for 2,5 & triple Bodyweight (ca. 68kg atm). One #lifegoal of many

Who here is also working on a special milestone?

Good stuff, Michael. Do you do grip specific workouts? It helps tremendously with pulling exercises. Right now my goal is to close a #3.5 Captains of Crush gripper. If you’re not familiar with grippers, they’re a game changer. Keep up the good work⚡️💪🏻

Thx Henry. I did once, have one of these old school ivanko-grippers with adjustable springs. Captain Crushs are cool!

Yeah, my grip is an issue. I have really small hands. Good for fine arts, but less for lifting or wrestling with bears xD

90kg is and was the max weight I could pull raw without loosing my grip. With 3-5more kilos of muscle this shifted slowly to 100kg. But for maxweight I have to use an alternating grip anyways🤷‍♂️

Any Ideas how to adress a diffrence in muscle size in my left lower back? I have a huge imbalance there, that I did not notice for years 🤣

That’s interesting. Do you have pain with it or just weakness? If you can visibly see it, it sounds like scoliosis. I would try to strengthen your obliques with suitcase deadlifts which will also strengthen your grip.

No pain. Yes, it's due to a slight scoliosis. According to my doc its so minor, that I can ignore it. But I guess thats the cause.

"Nobodys spine is like a broom stick" is what he said. 😅

I often forgett I have this since the is no perceived problem other than the optik which I dont see anyways. Its a weird problem to have, where I dont even know if its beneficial to isolate the less developed area.

But I apreciate any tips or pointers :)

I will build in the suitcase variations for the next few months
