The "darkness" preference depends on whether you have high-order aberrations in your cornea. A full dark setting magnifies the visual effects created by the eye's optical imperfections. For those users (10-25% of the population), slightly reducing the contrast between letters and the background is a night-and-day difference. In extreme cases (2-3% of the population), they will see double letters, one slightly below the other, making reading virtually impossible.

I have eye problems, every app in dark mode I see the letters moving when scrolling. Light mode is aways better for me

Ortho-k (corneal reshaping via a sleep-time contact lens) is an option.

#DoctorNostr #Doctr 😄 I like that we are getting closer to your vision for health provider & health data

It's just a matter of time for people to create communities of their specific health condition.

How would they be organised? Surely not via hashtags

The boring PhD in me gets triggered when people take sides in a sideless battle. :)

nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z do you know if the #sci-hub girl (Alexandra Elbakyan) is on #Nostr ? I owe her a few sats!

Also, is it possible to link Nostr with sci-hub to access a paper and maybe summarise it via the Data Vending Machine to get some preliminary insights? Many researchers would love this feature on Nostr
