Yeah I’m all for stoicism and like to read the stoics but IMO the above sentiment takes you down a dark path. I was surprised in the comments I saw that no one had challenged your viewpoint
I'm not sure taking advice from someone who although might have good intentions doesn't actually have a deep understanding of how & why humans think & behave the way they do. It's all feel-good advice from Hodl, but that's all it is & sometimes he is wrong and from what I see he pushes back everytime someone challenges him on something he's posted. But as his wife says he is "intense" so he continues with his inspirational posts. It's all about his ego.
