Podcasting 2.0 supports video. Actually podcasting has always supported video. RSS is just a .xml file that points to the data.

Yeah. Aware the spec understands video formats, but here we are still most people sharing youtube content. So what are we missing? We just need people to start publishing their videos as podcast feeds then?
People post to YouTube for reach, its just that simple.
So what do we do? How was podcast so much more valuable? I'm not talking about capturing big youtubers, not even ones that get paid. I still watch people that just post for fun without any youtube monetization (or have been limited due to violating yt rules)

I've even commented on his videos pointing him to v4v 2.0. I'm thinking maybe he is to much apart of the machine but he's willing to speak out against it cuz he's starting to see the gatekeepers take more than he is willing to keep quiet about
He's still a slave to YouTube and I've even seen countless reaction videos to his stuff. This all drives engagement, feeds the algos and makes the advertisers and YouTube money. People don't see that part sadly and think they are sticking it to the man.
You can just do your own thing but you know that better than most. 😉
