I promised a friend I'd go on at least one date in each city I'm moving to. Out here in the boonies I was surprised to find someone who had a lot of good looking credentials, studied multiple languages, lived abroad etc. like I had. I thought we would have a lot in common! After the first 15 minutes of the date it was painfully obvious that everything in his profile was complete fiction and he started acting like I was the asshole asking him questions and sharing my experiences... Which I thought was what we're supposed to do on dates. I wasn't being antagonistic. Apparently what he put in his profile was what he was planning on doing in the future, even though that's not how it was worded. I'm not sure what he expected to happen 🤷‍♀️
