Putting yourself out there isn’t easy.

I embrace “cringe” and hate comments in hopes of giving others the confidence to do the same.

It was #[3] who helped me with this early on, saying it's good to have lovers AND haters, it means you're doing something, you're not a fence-sitter.

It really stuck with me.

“Don’t kill the part of you that’s cringe. Kill the part of you that cringes.”

Or, in the words of #[5]:

“One man’s cringe is another man’s erection.”
