Question: If Macron is correct, that China's desire to unify Taiwan with the mainland by force is no different than the EU's desire for unity, then why didn't France and others threaten to invade the UK over Brexit?

ironic that Xi sold Macron on the EUs desire for unity while using the "divide and conquer" approach to split the EU.

Step 1: Find the weak leaders and convince them China is noble and the US is evil.

The measure of a leader is how many follow you. Macron is as weak as they come. I expect minimal backing. Its more how much it emboldens the smaller countries not in the EU to join BRICS.
