#pastart - Index Card A Day 2021

For this one, I cut around the sticker first, then separated it from its backing. Gesso and acrylic paint on the backing paper created the hard “shadow” that I offset to the left when I glued it and the sticker onto the index card.

Second photo: have successfully cleared through 1 of 6 bookcases in my art studio. Hoping by the time I’m done, I’ll only need 4 bookcases.
