have met a few really high-powered husband wife couples and mostly they're so busy that they essentially just tolerate each other for status for a long time while still staying married
She left him for a reason. If she liked the direction things were going, she would have stayed. She knew how he is but looked the other way. She hoped he wouldn’t get worse. He couldn’t help himself. She couldn’t in good faith stand by his side any longer. Not saying she’s perfect.
