Confidential transactions are cool. I still donβt know what Iβm going to use Liquid for but itβs probably worth learning. π§π§
Yea so far I can see the privacy benefits, and the benefit of it being a non-custodial layer 2 that doesnβt require channel management. Lightning still wins on fees for small/micro transactions, and for very large transactions I think Iβd still want to use on chain bitcoin. But for medium sized transactions or occasional small transactions where someone doesnβt want to maintain a Lightning node, I can see where it would be useful.
