I can't recall if I've ever read text in a dream. It's probably happened at times I've spent a lot of time reading IRL. I should keep a look out for it.

Now that you mention it, I’m not sure if I have either. But since your brain is creating the image, it’s wouldn’t really be text but the interpretation of text, right? Kind of a difficult concept to describe.
I'm curious if it's really that uncommon to be able to read or if its a matter of relevance to other things going on in the mind. The couple I have had recently lead me to this theory that the nonsense text experienced in dreams is more like text in peripheral vision... I don't know if that makes sense 😂
