Not at all and I've never made anything near that. But I also think $1m isn't a lot of money either.

My friend's and I have decided, from our experience (mostly theirs) about $250-350k is a healthy range for a single income and keeps the feds away. It's also possible to make that without really getting into shuffling money everywhere all the time.

Yeah $250k+ would impress me.

I know so many people making more and they just have normie jobs, like accountants and engineers and chemists.

I don't know any of those but I'll take your word for it. Maybe people in their 50s I could point to. But they had 30 years of making much less than that. By the time I'm 50 I want wayyyyy more than that, or that much completely passive.

Middle-age, where you're still young enough to keep up, but old enough to be a "senior employee".
