Its for my mental health, I don’t like the cheap dopamine boosts. I also don’t like the bandwidth it uses and how it reduces the number of results returned in my notification feed. It can also be spammed unlike zaps.

maybe we could load in my home feed, when on Wi-Fi, the last hour of zaps, with that extra bandwith, even if that doesn’t update live / until expand, or at least light up the bolt to alert, and maybe cache the zaps column in notifications?
I’d love a mode where the only replies I see are those with zaps to the person replied to. That means zaps would need to be displayed as normal notes not aggregated.
