I wonder how much electricity this will consume? Won't someone think of the environment?

The "big tech" push for AI has very little to do with the promises of AI.
Rather, it is all about selling compute cycles. Microsoft (Azure) is seeing one hell of a payday with all these AI projects hoovering up all the compute they can find.
