I just realized how much I have had to unlearn during my adult life, as I have read books, listened to podcasts, and basically educated myself about economics, money, politics. I should have been taught these things when I was young. I feel that I am one of the lucky ones, because now I understand. Many, many people will never understand. #grownostr #gratitude #SelfEducation

Turns out I like learning when I can choose the subject.
No more memorizing state capitals to make the State seem legitimate. When would this be useful? I could just look it up
The brain creates a new learned concept with other parts of the brain when something is learned. This creates the foundation to think critically or creatively about said concept or others.
For example, questions like "how is X similar to Y... and what happens if Z is introduced" are possible through learning information.
Many students didn't want to learn fractions, then multiplication, then subtraction and addition. Same in other educational areas. Why learn, if you can look it up?
Same here! One has to be willing to learn however as the first step.. everything flows from that.
If only Nostr. I'm unlearning singing techniques to sing naturally - just like uneducated kids can. That's borderline bizarre.
Why education is important
This is what being part of the Remnant means. You can never stop learning. It stop learning is to die.
