True... but a times its the vibe of the place that actually keeps people around... the vibe is mostly bitcoin... apart from you and few of us others that i follow. But we are so small... and thinking even now from my point of view... im here but honestly getting bored... ๐
Create your own community. It took me more than a year to understand this place, and now I'm more than ok.
Remember that this place is in its infancy and will likely experience many hiccups, but with patience and some work, it will succeed, and I want to be part of it. Offer to others what you want to receive.
I know.. Im trying but my fear is not in what we represent but rather that the people dont have that patience as you and me. They feel hostility and they leave. You amd me type are different we understand more. But this place needs those who dont understand not to get scared on first or detered by the negativity.

The most followings harboured is here by bitcoin maxis and bitcoin community. They often engage in very ugly disputes woth normies when they try to get some informations on their lifestyle. Resulting in a lot of bad energy from bitcoin community and they leave... is it possible that nostr is suffering in "normie" waters due to that?

Bitcoin isnt life. We all know that. We are fantasising about how bitcoin will fix the world. But the world is still very damaged and its not with bitcoin that we will start to fix it... its a delusional thinking. There are so many other things to be fixed first... one of them is peoples primitive mentality... thats where the world needs a fix first... repaire people and their primitive ways.

You can mute the word Bitcoin, or mute the accounts talking about it if someone you follow keeps sharing their shit and you don't want to unfollow that person.
Nostr is for everyone.
This mute option isnt for me. I still want to see other cool stuff there is evolving bitcoin. Muting will cause more harm then good in this case. But I do get where you come from. Thats somehow a start. I dont have problem woth bitcoin material on Nostr some is informative and you can learn from it but a lot of it is also pure kaka.
People do have other interests, I've never had any problems when I have posted stuff about other things. It would be nice if we could zap in things other than Bitcoin though.

Some of them they want to attract people to release them from financial system , other just to get profit in the same currency that enslave you ... this place was absolutely designed by bitcoin fanatics mostly. bitcoin brings quite a lot of new ideas and philosophy, so much that it needed its own decentralised and censorship resistant townsquare. you don't have to be a bitcoin fanatics to use it though, you just need to break free from centralised social media.
