For those of you who host nests, what are your tips? Can I host from
mobile ok? Or better from a laptop? How do I record? Anything I should know from your experiences?
Yes, I'm over thinking it 😂 But also the nests I've joined in the past from my phone had listening issues so I just want to make sure I am armed with tips before I start (40mins) 🤞

Laptop/ desktop definitely works better than mobile. Brave or Chrome on my MacBook have worked well for me. If you can, I would recommend investing in a good mic as well

I haven’t hosted here yet, but I do have an issue when I am brought on stage then I can’t hear anyone or activate my mic.

Safari has issues. Don't use Safari. You'll join the stage and won't be able to talk or you'll talk and some people won't hear you. Everything else should be fine. I join from my desktop and mobile equally. I use Brave and Chrome without issues. Well, I guess the only issue on mobile is you have to keep the browser active otherwise it will disconnect you from the nest.
You can record. When hosting, use the gear icon to record. When, you stop recording, you'll be promoted to download the audio.
I agree you can use mobile o desktop. I've used chrome n firefox but brave I needed to clear cache and change a privacy setting.
One thing many dont seem to do is once set up with nostr key and are a moderator save your nostrnest key (6 words) because you'll wish you had.
If you have any issues just restore your identity and you'll be setup again. If you dont and you clear you browser cache you'll lose you work and access to your room.
It is a little buggy if you put a lot of people on stage but I really find it much better than X spaces. Got rugged 2x yesterday show.
If people do have issues they may find leaving the room and reentering fixes it.
