Do people build their view of the world in a hierarchical way , like as in a house of cards, or is it more modular than that , with clusters of views and opinions that can exist independendently of one another?

I’d say both.

Some views are based on layers of fundamental views gained from a young age.

For these to change, the whole foundation needs to be broken down first.

Other views are more modular and easier to change without world shattering consequences.

If I dropped an apple , and it went up instead of down , I would have to remove a fair chunck of that house of cards .

😂

I think this is why bitcoin is so hard to understand for most in the West. Many foundations need to break.

I think it depends on how logical and autistic they are.

We as Bitcoiners are probably more hierarchical in this sense because it has to all make sense to us whereas NPCs can just collect whatever someone hands them. Look at all the contradictions of clown world.
