Ngl i prefer spending fiat first but I’m always ready so spend some sats.
I don't get it. Why would you prefer spending Fiat.
A) better opsec
B) reduced fees
C) most businesses run fiat, not Bitcoin
Bonus rule of thumb: it’s always better to spend soft money before hard money.
I get A, B, C but the bonus point is bullshit unless you're spending debt.
Gresham’s Law states that “bad money drives out good.” Look it up.
All of the money you keep in USD is still depreciating every second until you spend it. You're still spending it at the end, but if you keep it in bitcoin it doesn't depreciate.
I don't think that's how it works, but do your own thing. As long as you have Bitcoin exposure, I think you'll be well off. The rest is minuscule in effect.

Most Bitcoiners that bought only for profit making yes, but the few of true Bitcoiners are using it.
I have been using it from the very first year I bought some sats.
And I even recently manage to sell second hand stuff for sats! After years of adding the line "Bitcoin accepted with 10% discount" on all my online ads.
