Last year, after listening to one of Peterās particularly BTC-deranged rants from his podcast, I decided to start an āemotional hedgeā against him by buying some precious metal mining stocks. I canāt loose: if his thesis is right, then those investments will go up (and I can later rotate into BTC). If heās wrong, I can laugh about how wrong he was.
So far: Those investments are up ~50%. So emotionally Iām down (grumpy that Schiff was ārightā, so far) but dirty fiat wise Iām up.
Yeah he lives in my head, but not fully rent free!
