what would be even awesomer is if the compressor on the fridge was directly driven by the motor that is powered by the methane digester
i'm also curious how this can be done without a battery or condenser... surely one could rig up a copper/zinc couple to slam to trigger in sync? this would not be vulnerable to EMP CME etc

From what I read you just need a hydrocarbon. Doesn't really matter what to create heat.

i like the idea of a small panel/battery to run the controller, and a rising cylinder setup to produce methane pressure. if you could keep the decomposition going at a decent rate, thats actual sustainable refrigeration.
