The more popular nostr gets the more we will see this. I get really confused by some people's post about connections or interactions on here being more genuine, friendly. LoL... This is going to be more toxic than Twitter! Freedom is a shit.
this is def going to be more toxic than twitter, you don't get a curated and filtered feed so *you* can choose which relays to subscribe to and which users to block.

I sometimes suspect the same. Thinking relays are going to be the way to filter out not only spam but any posts that contravene the relay-specific governance framework.
Yeah will be interesting. On the one hand I don’t want to see toxic posts. On the other hand it’s a slippery slope to just creating an echo camber for yourself
Yep, got to find the sweet spot - one extreme is public relay with spam spam spam and the other extreme is echo-chamber … what’s in between?
