Can you all chime in here and work through this with me - thoughts on abandoning Twitter completely vs sticking around on both Nostr and Twitter to help onboard more people

I have no interest in contributing to twitter anymore but still have friends there so I check in and lurk.

But

If we all abandon twitter completely, are we helping or hurting when it comes to a bitcoin only approach in general and the desperate need for censorship resistant technologies?? Feels like a double edged sword.

I go back and forth on this. Thoughts???

We all know the fiat on-ramps to Bitcoin will go away, so whilst we’ve got them it’s a great way to spread the message and onboard people.

Nostr was already prohibited on Twitter once, it’s clearly being shadowbanned now - we’re not going to be able to actively recruit people there forever so whilst we’ve got it, I’m going to use it.
