For big accounts with reach it makes sense to stay if you are reaching nonBTC/nonNOSTR folks. Is the algorithm actively working against this? Most likely.

It's all about what you can stand. If you believe the fight is still worthwhile then please continue there. I think folks will notice a sort of brain drain effect from twatter to NOSTR either way tho.

I made my account private and only login when I want to find something I wrote, or to message people my npub.

If we abandon our other channels, then we create a smaller echo chamber of like-minded individuals…and that doesn’t scale.

And we WANT to scale!

We all know the fiat on-ramps to Bitcoin will go away, so whilst we’ve got them it’s a great way to spread the message and onboard people.

Nostr was already prohibited on Twitter once, it’s clearly being shadowbanned now - we’re not going to be able to actively recruit people there forever so whilst we’ve got it, I’m going to use it.

I’ve got limited time and it is my most valuable resource. In my extra time I want to surround myself with people who add value to my life and I hope to add value to their lives in return. This is where I choose to be. They are on their path, I am on mine.

Nostr, at the moment, is a echo chamber. I like contributing here and I feel the work I put into post gets more value — it truly is a beautiful thing.

But just like people still like to use facebook, I feel it’s all an opinion. I like both and simply am about 50/50 at the moment and still think I need LESS of it regardless.

One thing I also dislike is on Nostr if I am not on it 24/7, I may miss a post that provides value to me.

Abandoning twitter now is a bad move.

Most people don't understand Nostr like they dont understand Bitcoin.

We need to educate and protect newbies from the scams that we fell for... we can do this here... it useless here... everyone on here gets it.

Having multiple channels of communication brings resilience and everyone will pick their own path.

I will continue to speak out against vaccine mandates, lockdowns, ESG, social credit scores and CBDCs. The EU is heading down a dark path of authoritarianism, food shortages and agenda-driven energy crises.

It is vital to support farmers and truckers protesting. Ceaucescu's regime fell because of changes in perception. Protests leads to government over-reach, which in turn lead to public mobilization against a regime. Bitcoin is the natural funding channel for protests.

Nostr is a marathon and not a sprint. It is for long-term building and networking. Other channels have their purposes.

Continue to use Twitter, but attach a link to every tweet with the same tweet on a Nostr relay.
