Nostr, at the moment, is a echo chamber. I like contributing here and I feel the work I put into post gets more value — it truly is a beautiful thing.
But just like people still like to use facebook, I feel it’s all an opinion. I like both and simply am about 50/50 at the moment and still think I need LESS of it regardless.
One thing I also dislike is on Nostr if I am not on it 24/7, I may miss a post that provides value to me.
I think we’re heading in the right direction though nevertheless.

It's very much an echo chamber. Ultimately: content is king. It's kind of mindless to listen to a bunch of parrots going "zap?" "zap?" "zap?".
The news algorithm censoring everyone except those who say controversial things, which does actually contribute to the vitality addictive nature of Twitter. At the end of the day, your users are still human. That's something Nostr communities have to figure out. Until then, like crypto, it's a solution looking for a problem.
Nostr is a solution looking for a problem? Are you blind to big tech censorship and manipulation through algorithms? We are under constant mental attack. This is not a solution looking for a problem. This is people being able to monetize their own content and free from the chains of big tech. I completely disagree.
If you have the right relays, and follow the right people, it is much more than listening to parrots saying zap zap zap.
