I don't know of anyone who does this, unless they're like currently a PhD candidate at that university.
If I open a channel to you, would you keep it open? It would be fairly low transaction volume, it's just frustrating when I open to someone and they close it a few weeks later because it's not routing.
I'm really hopeful nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m gets CashApp to this point. It's so close!
Pretty cool that I can buy movie tickets at AMC Theaters with lightning network on BitPay.
When you're investing 500 msat in something, 30 ksat for a transaction is not something you worry about.
I heard from a little bird it was about pursuing a buy-out by Microsoft.
Hard to say without reading the code
I'd say the fundamental problem is that trying to pay with Bitcoin anywhere is seen as something like to watch an America pay with Australian dollars in Lisbon. Most people look at you like wtf can they do with that? Pay me! And it comes off as outright rude.
My strategy is to just be like "I've got what I need to financially float, if anyone wants to hire me now, I will only work for Bitcoin."
Joke's on me though, I'm unemployed.
I've been getting random 1 sat tips. Is this a scheme to get me back into Nostr? It's working.
I have a lot of channels which just get stuck where all the liquidity is on the other end, and the owner doesn't want to reduce their fees so they never route back. Then eventually they close the channel because of low activity.
Gotta love how CashApp locks down Bitcoin in certain regions.
It's fairly exhausting listening to nerdy white guys talk about bitcoin.
I've been thinking of Japan around late November
That would be really cool, and doable with HTLC contracts. Is anyone working on that?
It's so good! I cried after the third episode.
It's kinda better if people think you are though. We have nothing to prove.
How much money did they put into it?
