After the perfect storm of force closures yesterday, in addition to other issues with my database, I have decided to liquidate my lightning node, MindlinerTre, and start a new node 🍀 . This time, all channels will be opened with maximum support for adoption, a focus on small businesses who need inbound liquidity, and a preference for pleb nodes; details will follow.

As someone who has gone through losing all channels to SCB due to hardware failure I feel the pain! But taking it as a chance to rebuild from scratch is a good mentality- my node is better than it ever was before my big disaster. You will come back stronger 🩷

Yes, it's perhaps the last opportunity to get away with a complete node liquidation and rebuild. I closed 200 channels (70 FCs) for a total of 75k sats. Wild. Let's hope blockchain usage remains stable for the rebuild.

Good price! keep building!

I encountered an LND bug last week that costs me 2 heavy transactions at 1000sats/vb with a total 500K sats down the drain.

technically all the sats i made from my node over the past two years are gone lol

We build and test because we believe its going to be helpful in the future.
