A trust system plus report blocking may be the better way to go.

Yes I know. Just having some fun.

The solution is to implement "follow requests" to interact with profiles and also require 1 Satoshi or less to send a follow request.

That's cheap enough to not bother anyone but expensive enough to stop spam.

You can also get the profile pic URL and add it to hidden words. Just as another workaround.

But yeah all it would take would be to have a spammer with no name and no profile pic to get around this. But works for now which is good:)
