Imagine you could lay the foundations for a free and open digital society of the future but all you care about are Bitcoin treasury companies.
It doesn't get more lame than that.

I don't get all the news and commotion about companies and governments acquiring bitcoin. People buying bitcoin in self-custody and using it to pay, seems more going forward.
If all you see in Bitcoin is treasury strategy, you’ve missed the whole point. It’s about building a free digital future — not boosting quarterly reports.
my ass is not asking a Bitcoin for cryptocurrency treasury company to fund my vision for a free and open digital society now am I.
“My Mnav is better than yours…I can teach you but I have to charge.” 🎶
no shade on jack, he's done a lot of work to bring Bitcoin to a lot of people
Bitcoin treasury companies is not “all I care about”
I’ve been promoting and funding Bitcoin adoption for almost 13 years and I’m the founder and CEO of Strike where Bitcoiners around the world can DCA for no fees and withdraw to cold storage for free.
To be honest, one of the reasons I founded Twenty One is because I want to be a part of Bitcoin’s inevitable intersection with the capital markets. I don’t trust that industry to share the same Bitcoin beliefs that I do
But you see how injecting capital into tether props up the US dollar by creating a new buyer for treasuries, right? They are trying to replace the nation states that are abandoning the Petrodollar, they needed someone to buy the debt so the Fed doesn't have to just buy it's own debt. This "tether bank" is prolonging widespread bitcoin adoption, not hastening it.
Keep going Jack, grateful for what you've built and excited for 21. Unfortunately a lot of people don't see how the treasury companies are a part of creating and transitioning to the world they want to see.
But without bitcoin treasury companies storing their private keys with Coinbase, how else are we supposed to stack mad fiat? 😆
Normies gonna normie 🤷♂️
The fiat mentality…money has been so shitty most people, including all but the most hardened Bitcoiners, have been conditioned to think, “You gotta invest.”
Lame people doing lame things,... 🤷
Just because EVERYONE doesn’t see the whole picture YET, doesn’t mean they won’t EVER.
The rabbit hole BEGINS with seeing Bitcoin as SoV. Eventually, you/we move onto MoE… and beyond…. 👁️ 🦋 💫
It’s like a black hole. Once you cross the event horizon, there is no looking back. 😉

It's possible we need to coalesce in a particular jurisdiction to incubate medium of exchange. I actually don't see any other way forward.
Make no mistake the United States is the greatest enemy to #bitcoin and this is how they operate. If you have ever worked close to a psychopath before this is precisely how they behave. They want you close and oblivious to their true intentions.
Bitcoin treasury companies have a role to play too. They are the conduit to a Bitcoinized world, whether you like it or not. Granted, most people interested in them are focused on potential gains and not on that, though. The fact is that the vast majority of people won't use niche tools to interact with Bitcoin. They will get exposure through financial products.
I understand that Bitcoin is for everyone, but these treasury companies are so fiat. They're just using Bitcoin to play the same old fiat games. MSTR is probably the worst if you look at their leverage model. They're boring.
Yes they are playing fiat games, but their purpose is to leverage them to help kill fiat and bring about hyperbitcoinization. Definitely not boring.
Lame is lame
People are excited. The new shiny object is just clicks away.
You've been around long enough to know that each cycle brings a new wave of goofballs. It'll fade. One of them will make a mistake and lose their bitcoin or sell.
Focus on what you want to create
Ignore the noise
🙏🏻
So Fiat 🤢
People come to Bitcoin for number go up but stay for the altruism
Forgive them, for they do not (yet) know
