I gotta learn how to use the AeroPress
Discussion
Just used mine. It's great.
boil water
grind beans fine (espresso fine)
put AeroPress on mug
put 4 tbs (2 scoops) grounds in bottom part of AeroPress
pour water in slowly, evenly
stir gently for ~10 seconds
press for 20-30 seconds, slow
enjoy
Thanks. Enjoy the coffee
I messed up the “slowly” part 🤣
if you're going to stick with the AeroPress I highly recommend replacing paper filters with [this reusable one](https://amzn.to/3P2rO6y).
thx for the tip! I ordered the one that has standard and fine version just in case
😵 TY for sats
All correct except only bring water to between 175-190
Yes…yes…yes!
Most importantly use high quality coffee and fresh roasted beans.
And I use inverted. Find its much better consistentcy.
Heat water to 181° F.
Open plunger 98% and invert so cap opening is on top.
Add 21g of medium-fine grind coffee
Add 50g of water and stir gently to wet the grounds for a “bloom” around 30 sec.
Add water to the top of the aeropress leaving 1-2 mm from top.
Stir 5-10 times.
Add the filter to the cap and screw onto the top.
Wait 1:30.
Invert onto the mug and slowly express the coffee over the course of one minute.
Enjoy your #coffee
Inverted method of aeropress is the tastiest way to drink coffee IMO but it always makes a mess.
Thx will check out
I've been using mine for years but when things go wrong they really go wrong. 🤣
Let me know if you have any questions :)
