A lot of things crazy about Canada right now. And yet it's still more sane than all of Europe. IMO North America is still the best continent to be on.

We don’t pay any personal tax though.

My employer pays taxes on the money he gives me. I then pay taxes on it. It’s the Canadian special🥲🤣
Yes, he also has to pay a portion of your cpp & wsib also.
Even us being owner/operators, we still have to pay cpp which is bullshit. I don’t want a pension plan, I want my money now!
I hear ya though, and then we pay shitloads in more taxes on everything else we buy with the money that’s already been taxed.
A lot of people are still completely unaware of this, or don’t care and just think that’s the way it’s always been so it must be right.
