I really enjoy posting on Nostr and have had great conversations with people along the way.

One of the things I grapple with though, is that it’s also the place where I’ve learned there remain people with public notoriety who believe all my problems stem from the fact that I’m mixed race; that there should not be “race mixing.”

It makes it hard to share wholistic insight into who I am or what I do because everything in their mind ties back to that viewpoint.

Speak your truth. It will resonate with whoever it’s meant for. Just mute the ones that want to say antagonistic things due to their own flawed mindset

Judging by color in 2024 just shows your lack of intelligence and your inability to grow as a human. It's probably easier said than done and I'll never fully understand the feelings you have, but fuck'em.

They’re clearly not ready for you, or much of anything.

It’s such a backward and narrow view. Nostr is empowered by authenticity. People who view perspective based on a surface layer, such as race or color of hair, etc just aren’t worth engaging with. Share your story, this is what people want to engage with here 💜

Sharing wholistic insight with ignorant individuals is a waste of time and effort.

Best course of action is to ignore block and move on.

There will always be intellectually deficient people in the world, it’s not your job to enlighten them. judge for yourself how much effort you’re willing to put into such endeavors and when that has been exceeded move forward for yourself and leave them behind.

Thanks so much for the @replies in this thread. Definitely helped me ground myself again this afternoon 😊
