Lol. There is no rational reason to feel upset at being circumcised. If you are saying irrational people sometimes kill themselves, that seems normal.

Irrational people killing themselves is normal? 🤔 A friend of mine had to be circumcised in his 20’s for medical reasons. He used an analogy of having sex before circumcision and after circumsision with watching colour TV and then black & white TV. Probably not worth killing yourself for but certainly a rational reason for feeling upset
Thinking theres no rational reason to be upset about having a part of your body cut off when you're too young to have a say or even comprehend is pretty retarded.
Maybe you just dont have sex lmao
This is just weird. It might as well be your appendix. I didn't have a say when they removed that at 13 or when I had hernia surgery at 5.
If you asked me on any day of my life if this caused me angst, I would say no. If you asked me if I would change things, I would say hell no.
Our country is now fascist. I think arguing about foreskin is a weird distraction from the historic destruction of our country.
"Our country is now fascist" 😂😂
And did your appendix make sex better and cause no harm to you at all?
Also people with functioning brains are able to handle multiple conversation topics lmao
Funny how a Jewish tradition somehow managed to completely dominate popular media and medical opinion in the way it did. Hmmmmmm

Thoughts 💭 🤔
I agree that arguing about foreskin is ridiculous. Maybe not a distraction from the degradation of our country, but more a piece in the puzzle of people waking up to first principles thinking and ownership of one’s own streams of research supported by data. Imo, it’s not something I want to proliferate, but it’s not the most important issue of our time.
Do I circumcise my children? No, because it’s not necessary for them.
Do I sit around sad that I’m circumcised because I’m “missing out on something” unquantifiable? No -that’s nonsense. I’ve never had any complaints about my hardware, intimacy with my wife, or the kids that were born from that intimacy.
Will I allow people to remove organs, limbs, or whatever is needed from my kids in order to preserve their life? Yes, obviously. I think people throw the word “mutilation” around too easily in this. It’s more about educating on the necessity of it, not damming people into changing. No one yells at a parent because they got their daughter’s ears pierced. That’s ridiculous.
I would have questions, depending about the age, concerning what values they are instilling into their child by getting their ears pierced very young, but you are right that I would stop short of calling it mutilation.
Then again, ear piercings can heal over, while foreskin, once removed, cannot grow back.
