Very different from younger generations, in my experience.

I'm an older part of the Millennial cohort, but grew up in poverty out in the boonies (lagged significantly behind on the tech adoption curve). I often find that I can relate better to Gen-Xers than to other Millennials.

In the same boat as far as older cohort. Never really related to millennials. Friends would call my house through landlines asking for me and my parents would tell them that they "hadn't seen me in two weeks, if you do let him know to check in with us"
