lol, I really like Carvalho but the idea that one can change that with a BIP is a huge misunderstanding of culture and language.
Even if approved, sats aren’t going anywhere and bitcoin will never be 1/10th of a penny. If the unit bias is a problem, then changing the unit to “fix it” will be 10x as confusing as just explaining that “sats to bitcoin are kinda like pennies to the dollar just smaller.”
There is only one correct response to this nonsense: Sats are the standard.
