I prefer to get the book file and read it on a open source book reader. Amazon & Apple bad.
hardly using an ereader, but if then kindle

if you won't read a lot, then don't go for kindle ... it's a waste of money then
I use the kindle. Moving to an open source alternative when I get time to experiment with it though.

If reading on my phone I use Apple Books. But if I really want to enjoy a book I will download the epub on my phone and the send to my kindle.
I don’t like that Amazon is tracking my reading habits so someday I will find a private open source device. But at the moment I am using it regardless.

I read a lot on Apple Books. I like that I can have one device for everything. Tried the kindle but didn’t like it as much. If not paper books are good too
was actually thinking the same, but I think I need to do some more research on it hehe
I asked my wife’s opinion. She loves reading on the kindle vs the iPhone.
Her top 3 reasons for choosing the kindle over Apple Books:
Bigger screen, longer battery life, looks more book-like/screen is mat.
interesting. i don’t mind reading through a screen as long is it’s not my phone but my computer
