This Northern flicker has been coming to our garden shed day after day.

My guess is it likes it's reflection. Any other guesses? nostr:npub19u6xl9f3f50zuc60k850ju0k22kkfrrx3r38l4vngk85xahmrl9sjt2r03 I'm looking at you.

Dude, #[1], just now realized you tagged me on this lol

But yeah, I’d make that bet. I had a mockingbird attacking his reflection in the mirror on my vehicle one day. Dude spent like 5 or 10 minutes fighting it. He’d jump on top of it and be all confused, looking all around, then jump down to look at the mirror and go to town again. It was hilarious!

I'm not even sure how tagging works. Figured I would try it and I was sure you would have something to say.

I am definitely not an expert in birds by any means, but I’ve been lucky enough to see them and lots of other critters doing random stuff, like a groundhog climbing a tree lol

Does it rap on the window? We had a male cardinal that came to the same window for years and rapped incessantly. I think it was "competing" with its reflection. You'd think he would figure out it wasn't a real bird....
