I talk less and less about #bitcoin on nostr because it feels like I'm preaching to the choir or telling a lion about the carnivore diet.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t be all about Bitcoin. Just that we’re talking to much about Bitcoin when we talk about why nostr is good. And we need to make discovering other topics of conversation and communities easier.
You’re talking out of both sides of your mouth. Nobody is stopping anyone from talking about anything they’re interested in. And nobody should try to dissuade others from talking about bitcoin, if that’s what they’re interested in.
“Talk less about bitcoin” is the dying era of Silicon Valley, Berkeley mind virus inspired millennial nonsense trying to trojan horse its way into the new. Better it stay on the trash heap of history where it belongs.
I agree that making discovery easier is needed and will be helpful. I disagree that you need to draw such a stark line between bitcoin and all other topics/communities.
