My apprentice’s tummy hurt or something so I got to re-rope an elevator by myself. Kind of slow going without any help but I got it done.

Right on, this trade has been very good to me. What made you switch to being a sparky?
I never switched. It's always been my trade. Over two decades now
I did all the electrics for them. I'd always be the first person to respond to service calls, so I got to do a lot of mechanics as well. I loved all the control work. It was a super dangerous job though. Almost died a few times
