So I've been trying to learn python for a few days. And it's made me hate python, myself and all devs.

If I started learning eg. JavaScript would it also make me feel like this?

Is this peculiar to python?

Try Ruby. It's zen.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm lol

I find if to be an elegant, enjoyable language.

Yes

python is probably the most learner-friendly programming language.

maybe you’d be better suited for vibe coding, where you let the computer do the coding.

I think don't want anything to do with coding mostly. It looks like a waste of time:) ;)

Oh I've made a facial recognition camera and a tuple.

WHY???

You clearly don’t enjoy it. Building stuff and solving bugs are part of the fun for me.

If you don’t find that fun and interesting, then why are you even trying to learn coding?

To appear more employable. I don't enjoy any of the things that are on my CV, coding is no different.

I guess we are from two very different countries, because where I live, knowing how to code does not get you a job unless you are talented or have a degree. There’s a ton of competition between average programmers in my country.

Also, it must suck not enjoying any of the things you work on 😅

Looking for a job in local government?

That would be sweet. Proper blag that.

Worse.

JavaScript would definitely be worse

Yes but worse

Dear me, don’t go within 10 nautical miles of JavaScript

You know how to party.

Just for learning and building your own projects - maybe not.

Very much so.
