Governments can never be transparent, because if we all saw what the tax money is wasted on we’d rev… erm, do nothing. 😞 nostr:note10g4j2vv98v97vu8mj9942rrcgc6rer3h8xudz3gc3s0aj5mute6qn8e9yj

Tax money isnt "wasted" as it doesnt pay for goods or services. If anything, the waste is the propaganda to push the idea that taxes cover government expenses. But that too is just a jobs program to keep drones occupied and misinformed. All taxes are money sinks as a penalty for living under an oppressive regime.

Well if you treat money printer as covering expenses, it doesn’t. That’s not how money printing works as far as I’m aware.

I don’t know how the actual tax collections make their way into budgets so I can’t really speak on that either but I assume it does. Would need to speak to someone from a federal or state treasury to see what actually happens. Unless you are one or know one, your guess is probably as good as mine.

I took a deep dive into all that a couple of years ago. You might not believe it if you found out, and I’m still not sure I do.

What did you find?

I was about to data dump on you (lol). Here's the tl;dr

Basically all the revenue the government collects barely covers Social Security and Medicare (both of which are expected to be bankrupt in the 2030's). Literally every single other thing the government does is 100% deficit spending.

Very true, but whistleblowers are still here and revolts are increasing. Revolutionary uprising might not be that far away. It just takes longer becasue the matrix has been fighting back through 'Divide and Conquer' and are lucky that people are enslaved to their smartphones instead of wanting to fight for a better future... Bitcoin and nostr are both revolutionary tools to give the power back to the people, it gives us the opportunity to create our own communities. A new type of government can and will arise, as long as the people want it.
