Check out Relay Tools - Relay.tools is a web based control panel and deployment system for relays.

Enabling the entire nostr population to have the ability to create relays and manage them, even those with no prior systems knowledge, is our goal.

The web UI provides easy relay creation, moderation capabilities, spam prevention, filtering rules and best practice settings.

Also serves as a directory listing of public relays for browsing and finding new relays.

I'm very serious. I tested the relay.tools andit' looks very good but relaying.io offers custom domains and also has simple management.

Ah ok haha, I thought maybe you were just doing the nostr joke about domain names 😁 how would you envision the feature working, you own the domain and point the nameservers to me and let relay.tools manage the domain? Or you manage the domain and the SSL certificate and input them into the dashboard?

🤔 this does seem like a complex feature to implement. Relay.tools goal is to make management of the relays as easy as possible with no cloud provider lock-in. Managing one off domains and SSL certificates would add to the complexity of the software in a way that does not align with the goal.

If you were to host relay tools yourself using the opensource code you could manage the domain and certificate for all your relays at a custom domain. You can also run spamblaster on your own relay and manage it with relay.tools.
